Outstanding opportunities outweigh obedientiary overburdening II...

66 days to go [days to Brexit]. They wanted us to stay but this 'once in a generation decision'
is "[ ] your decision. The government will implement what you decide.
" They promised we would Leave.

Bang on the money at Brexit Central, well Cash that is, Bill Cash MP: "In almost every aspect of British life there are positives to leaving without a deal." "The UK economy is growing, public borrowing is down and unemployment is at its lowest since 1975... ...London has been crowned the world’s most popular city for work... ...Whilst the good economic news continues, the scare stories about border disruption have been completely torpedoed...

"...Please can we now end Project Fear? Nobody else sees us in the drab, declining way we sometimes see ourselves. By contrast, the rest of the world is waiting for Britain to shake off the tin-pot diktats of Brussels and emerge as a global trading giant. Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and the US want to sign speedy trade deals."

Every week brings more good news, every scare story is proved groundless within hours...

"With our dynamic skilled workforce, the English language, and our global opportunities under WTO rules, a rejuvenating atmosphere of freedom – both democratic and economic – means an exit without a deal is what Britain can now embrace."

Hear Hear!

Ohr obsigns...

Ohr testimony: "Everybody knew". Source WSJ, hat-tip ZeroHedge

Everybody of consequence at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Justice Department understood fully in the middle of 2016 - as the FBI embarked on its counterintelligence probe of Donald Trump - that it was doing so based on disinformation provided by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

"It now turns out that senior Mueller players were central to the dossier scandal. The conflicts of interest boggle the mind."

'And Strassel concludes unequivocally: "the Ohr testimony is evidence the FBI itself knows how seriously it erred. The FBI has been hiding and twisting facts from the start."'

Orwellian orchestrated obfuscation...

"Don’t be fooled: this Brexit deal creates a triple lock to shackle the UK to Brussels forever", [LINK] i.e. taken down with the sinking ship. ANYBODY wanting this is patently and completely ANTI UK deal should never hold power again. It is an absolute disgrace that MPs can so openly ignore what is best for their constituents and their country.
"Whatever fudge is cooked up in Brussels to try to bolster support for her 'deal', it is very unlikely that the EU will delete the backstop. Why? Because it is a crucial element of the Withdrawal Agreement’s 'triple lock' structure designed to stop Brexit. 'Withdrawal Agreement' is an Orwellian misnomer, of course. This agreement keeps Britain in chains."
Indeed.

Ose: olisbos orgasmic opus...

And now for something completely different (or not if you've read Owsblog from the beginning: any excuse to relink back to the good old days on Owsblog: orgasms, olisbos, more orgasms...)

Basically a modern robotic vibrator has been banned from the technology show CES. Actually that's a fib, with this (pictured, available later this year) there are no vibrations: "Osé doesn’t need vibrations to get you there, just completely personalized g-spot and clitoral stimulation that perfectly fits your body."

Lora DiCarlo said it had been invited to display its robotic Ose vibrator at CES, after winning an innovation award. And it's not just any old thing: Lora Haddock Founder and CEO of Lora DiCarlo writes: "You see, we’re doing something that has never been done before - we’re making the world’s first hands-free device for the holy grail of orgasms — the blended orgasm. Our almost entirely female team of engineers is developing...

"...new micro-robotic technology that mimics all of the sensations of a human mouth, tongue, and fingers, for an experience that feels just like a real partner. The product even adjusts to each body's unique physiology for a personal fit that hits all the right spots, leaving the hands free for better uses. We’re talking about truly innovative robotics."

The CES (Consumer Electronics Show, the world’s biggest trade show) organiser the Consumer Technology Association, which granted the award, said it had included the device by mistake and could withdraw any immoral or obscene entry at any time...fair play you may think but 'similar' entries have been at previous shows and Ose certainly ticks the right boxes - or pushes the right buttons - to warrant its place at the event. And this year there's even a vibrating OLED TV, not quite the same pleasure and stimulation but hey-ho...

Outrecuidance of our ostriches...

More for Traitors' Gate. The Tower is going to be busy. Invest in spikes, pikes, pitchforks and yellow jackets. "MPs have backed measures designed to thwart preparations for a no-deal Brexit, by defeating the government in the House of Commons.

They backed an amendment to the Finance Bill, which would limit spending on no-deal preparations unless authorised by Parliament, by 303 to 296 votes." [BBC]

Are they mad? This is obviously anti Brexit but it is in fact anti UK, cutting off their nose to spite their face, anti most of their constituents! Just who the fuck do these shitty fucking cunting MPs think they are?

Update 22:15, anti-UK Francophile Dominic Grieve et al clearly present "the gravest peacetime threat to the UK in 70 years". Their end will be slow.

Update 2, 9/1/19, feeling less aggrieved today Bernard Jenkin and Jacob Rees-Mogg putting it in real context; the latter saying that the move was 'pointless and tokenistic', while Downing Street labelled it as nothing more than an 'inconvenience' (hat-tip Jonathan Isaby, BrexitCentral). Boles, Clarke, Greening, Grieve, Letwin, Morgan, Soubry, Vaizey, Wollaston et al have certainly blotted their copybook with this blatant sabotage; if only they'd piss off and form SDP II or something.

Ocracy obfuscation or obscurantism II...

"Theresa May stoking apocalyptic fears about no-deal Brexit to win over her rebels" is the DT [Link] headline on Lord Lilley, accusing May of trying to scare MPs into backing her EU Withdrawal Agreement with an 'apocalyptic' vision of what would happen in a no deal Brexit [this is pretty much what I meant by 'outrageous', my weak-posted-when-pissed blog-post {ahem} calling her and others liars at the end of last year].

The DT writes that Lord Lilley (Peter Lilley) had published a report for Global Britain and Labour Leave [HERE- PDF] "aimed at debunking 'myths' about leaving the EU on World Trade Organisation (WTO) terms", and why "WTO offers a safer haven than the Backstop".

It is fairly easy to get through and is well worth a read if you need any more information to debunk Remainers' weak and whining excuses; I have yet to hear a SINGLE reasonable - or even half-convincing - argument for staying!

Anyhoo... Lord Lilley is of course 100% correct, as he was when he outed Brown et al back in the day, pretty much fore-telling what the disastrous HMT-BoE-FSA would lead to.

"With the removal of banking control to the Financial Services
Authority...it is difficult to see how and whether the Bank remains, as
it surely must, responsible for ensuring the liquidity of the banking
system and preventing systemic collapse."...

"...that
the Government may, almost casually, have bitten off more than they can
chew. The process of setting up the FSA may cause regulators to take
their eye off the ball, while spivs and crooks have a field day."

...as was demonstrated all too clearly both here and in the USA.

Overwhelming optimism...

Happy New Year!

'The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.'

'I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.' [LINK]

I really enjoyed James Delingpole's six point plan for 2019 at Breitbart London. He wasn't even too hard on the wankerati (that wonderful term he himself coined a few years back): from Truth (Trump) to Candour to Integrity to Optimism to Sexism.

I agree with every word and stand up and applaud some of it, tongue in cheek besides, what he writes is 100% true: "I’m not suggesting that the mighty, wise and funny God Emperor Trump is without flaws. (Though I can’t immediately think of any). What I am saying is that if any of his predecessors – Obama especially – had been held to the same standards by the media establishment, half of them would have been impeached and Obama would now be in Gitmo."

Anyway, in a few weeks it will be the Year of the Pig, so a third Winston Churchill quote:

"I am fond of pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals."
