Wehay! The Independent reports: "firm, young-looking breasts that keep their shape over time". OK, I'm well behind with the news from Orbix Medical, the company that have developed a new plastic surgery procedure that promises to deliver "firm, young-looking breasts that keep their shape over time" by implanting bra-shaped 'silicone slings' underneath the skin. Taking only 45 minutes it has been approved in the EU: the operation involves the insertion of "silicon cups underneath the breast tissue and anchoring them to the bones of the rib cage with titanium screws".

'The Orbix Breast Support System eliminates breast re-sagging and minimizes scarring following breast procedures, keeping the shape and position of the breast and nipple years after the procedure.'

No offence to this good surgical advance (with medially sound reasons for it) but I'm starting to think that maybe a future blog-post will be 'Oversexed Oldies' with horny old nip-'n-tucked men high on Viagra [remember] servicing their biddy wives - with new firm breasts and each with their own personalised and aesthetically enhanced and tightened vagina - shagging behind the bowling shed.

Arsenal won and Spuds lost so it was a start but I'm trying to forget how Wales pounded England yesterday in the title decider of the 2013 Six Nations rugby championship; also, today is the day everyone  - for some reason - pretends they're Irish: it's St. Patrick's Day, which I didn't remember until about 7 pm.  So, considering all these patriot games, what better way to cheer me up than to post a picture of an Italian American fitness guru in Union Flag bikini....what? Sports Illustrated's 2013 Swimsuit Issue; Katie Upton is on the cover again but another issue is if they are "perpetuating racial stereotypes by drawing power and class lines between the Westernized models and the 'primitive locals'" as Jezebel Mag Hag argues....hmmm, there are a few pictures on the Yahoo!News link (fast heading toward eleven thousand comments!) but the Jezebel website has far more: surely adding to the exploitation if any existed.  "People are not props", they say, 'Why not?' I ask and they tend to shoot themselves in the foot by adding "Using people of color as background or extras is a popular fashion trope... ...But although it's prevalent, it's very distasteful". Eh? People of colour? Half the models are people of colour and is it OK if the 'props' are white people? Anyway, the hat-tipee Weasel Zippers makes a good point about Yahoo!News' saying that the "reaction has been mixed, even among the men who are supposed to be titillated": "Someone needs to tell Yahoo! News the men who comment on liberal feminist blogs are not even remotely representative...".
