Omicron offensive: ostracise others...

Jesus wept. yes, I quote the scriptures but also the modern meaning applies: after a mention of the head bed-wetter ABC* telling us what Jesus would do, now Bozo the Clown is too! FFS.

"Boris Johnson has invoked the teaching of Jesus Christ to urge the public to get a Covid booster jab", ludicrous. [The Guardian

* No sooner had I blogged 'will no one rid us of this turbulent priest?' (to coin a phrase hehe), and 'his wokeness presiding over the collapse of the faith in the UK (he is not alone in the blame for this)' when Frederick Edward, 'Will nobody rid me of this turbulent priest?', at Bournbrook has what could almost be a follow-up: albeit smarter, calmer, better written...OK, OK!

"Given that the entirety of the mainstream Christian establishment is wetter than a damp rag left out overnight during a rainstorm, it seems almost churlish to pick on any individual in particular.

And regarding the Archbishop of Canterbury's comment, Frederick writes:
This spiritual blackmail left me cold. If you love your neighbour, you probably shouldn’t try and strong-arm them into having a vaccine for which there is no long-term data and whose potential harms outweigh any conceivable benefit for vast swathes of the population. Particularly considering the fact that vaccination does not appear to stop infection or transmission.
Hear hear.

Oh, and by the way, I almost forgot: "The UKHSA study also found that protection against Omicron from booster shots starts to wane within three months, meaning millions face having an earlier fourth Covid jab next year." [The Times]...

...please don't pretend to be surprised.
