Only one oasis...

Firstly, this outstanding artwork displayed in the image is available to buy from BOB. 'Dictator' original artwork
GBP10,000.00: "painted on 300gsm watercolour paper and is rendered in Indian ink and watercolours. Size approximately 30cm". I think Bob Moran covers just about every aspect of the sad woke arrogant narcissistic evil that is Justin Trudeau and his current weak attempt at being a dictator in Canada. No exaggeration: "His reaction to a peaceful demonstration has come straight out of a dictator’s playbook. His behaviour has been an affront to all so-called freedom loving democratic nations." says Mark Dolan on GB News

Anyhooo, this blog-post title 'Only one oasis' is of course Ows humour - stolen from someone somewhere online, where or whom I can't recall - for 'just a waterhole', or juste en trou d'eau in French, which of course is Justin Trudeau (I'll get my coat...). Castrito of course is no longer the glistening sweet fresh water he seemed to be, no oasis in the desert but a stagnant bio-film slime covered dirty puddle: shallow, ugly and dangerous.

Interestingly, as reported earlier last week, Castrito called on the Big Banks and Big Tech* to help restore public order by seizing donations, 'outing' those who donated, and threatening freezing corporate AND personal bank accounts: all the while calling the peaceful protestors (not a single violent episode in the whole period) racists, misogynists, terrorists and even 'people who wave swastikas'.

Many things about this should worry everyone and yet STILL not a single Western leader has condemned anything about the Canadian situation...in fact isn't the deafening silence something else that should worry us all? Yes. Credit to the exceptions (to the quote below I would add NZ, also led by an increasingly shaky sounding weak and dangerous zealot, shaky because I actually think she believed the shit she was spouting and is only now trying to see how she can get out of the hole):
"The real war is not in Ukraine, it’s in Canada, Australia, France, Brussels, England, Germany, Italy...They just want you to look the other way."

* Big State, Big Banks and Big Tech...just need Big Pharma to get involved and the set is complete.

[Update 17:35 hrs] great article on Pipeline from David Solway: Who Is Justin Trudeau?..."But all of his policy aberrations and cringeworthy absurdities count for little in the light of his latest adventure in political grotesquery. "

And from Tom Luongo, [LINK] Trampling the Truckers – The Great Reset Becomes the Great Awakening: "The Great Reset rests on tyrants like Justin Trudeau to win through fear, intimidation and the banal corruption of weak people to support them."

Oblectation over opinion of one oldie's obnoxious obstreperousness...

...one of two things ruling the internet this weekend, and it isn't Truck Fudeau. No, as you can tell by the blog-post title (you couldn't?) it's the Neil Young/Spotify/Joe Rogan thing. Surfing away I landed at Riggery Pokery and enjoyed the succinct turn of phrase on the arrogance of certainty; nothing like a good rant; indeed I enjoyed the frisson but no skin orgasm...but I did laugh a lot.
I don’t particularly want to single out Neil Young here, he’s far from being the only one - but he has rather raised his wrinkly buggeration of a visage above the parapet. He is representative of a very worrying trend that has emerged. Where has this rising trend of fascist fuckwittery come from?
"Who the holy fuck is Neil Young to determine what I can, and cannot, listen to?
Arrogant shite."

"You supercilious wanker."

There's a lot more. :-)

Also a shout out too to Sophia in the comments: "In other news, my husband thought up with a new cologne yesterday that I think many of us would like to get our hands on. It's called "'Leave Me the Fu' Cologne."

Update 30th Jan: LOL, "Just when you thought Neil Young’s ill-conceived boycott of Spotify over Joe Rogan was fizzling out, Prince Harry and Meghan step in to keep it fizzling a little longer..." [The Daily Skeptic].

And more good reading on the generational aspect of the Young/Rogan spat and Covid HERE: The Needle and the Damage Done from Christopher Roach: "Far from being a cesspool of disinformation, the mainstream media are slowly catching up with the skeptics." [sic]

Oncoming oppression...

Well, not oncoming but already here and likely to get worse. This quote is so true. Quotes.pub had the image but the reminder of this great quote was from Allison Pearson's [DT] "withering verdict" of BoZo's BoJo's speech to the Conservative [virtual] Party Conference. Hat-tip Lockdown Skeptics

Also from there some more sinister (but we all knew) news: "Many governments are using the pandemic as cover to silence dissent, stifle the free press and disrupt elections, according to a new report by Freedom House, a US-based think tank". Linking to Philip Heijmans' article on the Bloomberg website: Governments Using Pandemic to Stifle Dissent

The Freedom House article is well worth reading, on their website HERE or the report is HERE-PDF

The Media end Expression section strikes me as problematic: "91 of 192 countries (47 percent) experienced restrictions on the news media as part of the response to the coronavirus outbreak", believable;

"Journalists covering the crisis have been arrested and targeted with violence, harassment, and intimidation. Governments have exerted control over content, revoked outlets’ registrations, suspended printing of newspapers, denied press credentials, and limited independent questioning at press conferences. New legislation against spreading “fake news” about the virus has been passed, while websites have been blocked and online articles or social media posts removed. The increased public need for impartial information during a pandemic makes such varied methods of suppression particularly egregious."

However, many major countries e.g. UK and USA are in the 'free' category (as against partly free or not free); they may be 'free' on paper (hoho) but they are part of the problem: they have stoked the fear, they refuse to ask the most obvious questions, THEY are part of the problem and have encouraged the dozy inadequate politicians to continue on their disasterous path.

Update: absolute case in point: just heard on the radio news, headline: this year "COVID has killed [xyz*] times more than flu and pneumonia combined".  Complete bollocks and for various reasons.

* can't remember if they said twice, three or four times more because I was shouting at the radio "NO IT HASN'T"...

Obvious oblectation; ominous obloquy

Prorogation of parliament is entirely NORMAL!

"Prorogation... marks the end of a
parliamentary session. It is the formal name given to the period between the end of a session of Parliament and the State Opening of Parliament that begins the next session. The parliamentary session may also be prorogued before Parliament is dissolved."

[Added] Also, back in May 2019, well over a 100 days ago, "the current parliamentary session reached a striking landmark. It
became the longest session by sitting days since the English Civil War
(1642-51)"
[House of Commons Library] !!

Obvious oblectation: 'She’s not "just a figurehead''. "Her Majesty The Queen is Britain’s final constitutional backstop...

...Such authority is historically sound.

"A.V. Dicey wrote in 'The Law of the Constitution' (1885): "The House can in accordance with the constitution be deprived of power [when] there is fair reason to suppose that the opinion of the House is not the opinion of the electors.""

"Edmund Burke noted: "The virtue, spirit, and essence of an House of Commons consists in its being the express image of the feelings of the nation. It was not instituted to be a controul upon the people, as of late it has been taught, by a doctrine of the most pernicious tendency. It was designed as a controul for the people."" [Raheem Kassam]

It stuns me how ignorant and thick many of the UK's MPs are. You can understand the waily, shrieky, undemocratic, pathetic, sinister Remain shouty tossers not understanding, but our duly elected officials you would think understood. Nope. Dumb fucks of ALL parties shouldn't be anywhere near power.

Ominous obloquy: Intersetingly, on Raheem's own website, I found out for the first time that the recent G7 summit agreed a "hate speech charter" as if the current draconian thought crimes aren't enough. Was this reported in the UK?

Outstanding opinion on offence...

Three cheers for David Coburn MEP. At last an elected UK official raises his head above the parapet. The UK taking the first steps towards Fascism. Read his full statement HERE; two snippets below.

Indeed: "Comedian found guilty of causing offence!", "It was a fucking joke you cunts"; hilarious. Ruling "Context and intent are irrelevant"...Sinister.

Omnipresent oppressors...

[edit] "In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act."

Oppression from left and right. We know that many on the Left are notorious Fascists (whilst claiming to fight Fascism); is it really a mystery why they happily and openly hold hands with many that are really 'ultra-right'? The answer, says James Bloodworth, writing in the Independent Voices, ("Why is the left so blinkered to Islamic extremism?") "lies in the fact that many Islamists exhibit a pathological anti-Americanism that is quite attractive to a certain type of degenerated progressive". Very probable; James links to The One Law for All Campaign's report [pdf link] which focuses on the most conspicuous - but by no means all - examples of the pro-Islamist Left in Britain.

"Any principled point of view must oppose all forms of fascism, including Islamic fascism and side with the countless people, many of whom are Muslim, who are fighting and challenging Islamism here in Europe as well as the Middle East, North Africa and across the world."

Now, however, the oppression and quashing of free speech, comes from the 'right' as well: earlier this week...was it an over zealous civil servant or mandarin that denied Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer entry to Great Britain? If so I can forgive Theresa May; if not she must fall from her once lofty position in my esteem (I'm sure she'll be upset) to join other extremist hate-monger apologists like slime-ball liar and cheating thief [too many sleaze examples for individual links] who should be in gaol Keith Vaz and lying terrorist-loving hypocrite Tony Lloyd (a 'Sheriff' no less!). To openly assist those that would do us harm they are surely part of the problem. I agree with Paul Austin Murphy:

"This is both very strange and disturbing case for the UK. Two activists who have spent their lives fighting against Islamist hate have themselves been called 'purveyors of hate' and therefore banned from entering the UK. Yet the UK has allowed numerous Islamists and even known jihadists into the country. On top of all that. The ones who are already here have been provided with copious state benefits, the best 'human rights lawyers' available, large houses, 24-hour security and God knows what else."...

..."So it seems that according to the Government, as well as to the Leftist whores-of-Islam, that Islamic violence and Islamism in the UK is OK; but criticising Islamic violence and Islamism is certainly not OK."

Update 30th June: reminded of the George Orwell quote in the top edit from "Truth is now Hate Speech in David Cameron’s Britain", by Paul Weston [Link, GoV]
