Ontario's Orangeville Otters outrage...

First things first: a man cannot be a women, ever. Or vice versa. No amount of hormones or operations can do that. This story from December last year but I only read about it today. "A 50-year-old professor has been allowed to identify himself into a swimming league for schoolgirls".
Hat-tip: Dr. Lidiya Angelova's Substack Genuine Prospect
Source: [SP¡KED] from last week.

On immediate reading you'd be forgiven for asking are Swimming Canada and Swim Ontario child abusers? Are they paedophiles? There can be NO other reason they would both think it's okay for an adult man to compete against teenage girls in swimming:  "Swimming Canada and SO believe swimming is for everyone." [Swim Ontario Statement].

FFS! Great, we all think that too but clearly they don't think teenage girls have the right to compete only against other teenage girls.

No doubt you know-who would approve: 'Only one oasis': 'just a waterhole', or juste en trou d'eau in French, which of course is Justin Trudeau (I'll get my coat...).

Overflowing outrageous orders...

Off to a flying start...ominously so. The image left is from a tweet HERE that shows what O'Biden* said only a few months back. The new WH chief of staff, Ron Klain said only 10 days ago that the "new president's planned executive orders would be "a restoration of an appropriate, constitutional role for the President."...seems odd then that in his first week Biden has signed more than DOUBLE those of The Donald, Obama, Bush II and Clinton COMBINED. Think about that for a minute...**

Check the numbers at the Federal Register and or The American Presidency Project [APP EO Link].

Anyhow... the point is that one of those (maybe two actually) sounds innocuous enough [Whitehouse] but could highlight "The End of Women's Sports?" in the USA; the Campaign for Working Families suggests so:
"But the executive order I want to focus on this morning is ironic. All the polling data show that young women voted overwhelmingly for Joe Biden. And his response to those young women was to issue an executive order that may well eliminate women's sports as a place for young women to excel."
Joe Biden’s war on women [Spiked]. "On his first day in office, the president signed away women’s sex-based rights." And it will get serious: "One of the first acts of Joe Biden's presidency was to gut sex anti-discrimination laws and eliminate critical protections for women in the federal government" say The Women's Liberation Front WoLF,
"With this action, Biden is bypassing the legislative process to implement the most controversial provisions of the Equality Act"
And [WoLF Tweet] :
"Gender identity is not a fringe issue, it is an ideological hydra that threatens to undermine everything from language to our most basic human rights
Where's the outrage? Where's the march on Washington, the million women pink hat mob (didn't they occupy government buildings?). Here's a guy that - to be as kind as I can - clearly cannot think straight and has in his first week signed off on - as previously mentioned - more than double the last four presidents combined, with more still coming: almost seems the Swamp had it all ready for years and knew they would win the election...oh.

* OK, I won't be using that as an excuse for blog-post titles LOL.
** in their first weeks, not total! Mind you Sleepy Joe has already reached 15% of DJT's total for 4 years!

Orthodoxy overkill...

...and identity politics will kill the Labour Party: the 'progressive' Left is eating itself. "Former Labour voters must be looking at this nonsense and congratulating themselves for abandoning this lost, deluded party.", so concludes Brendan O'Neill in his scathing article in Spiked! decribing the Labour Party and "The purge of the unwoke": "Labour is plotting a Stalinist purge of anyone who questions the cult of transgenderism."...
...the purge demands unquestioning loyalty to one of the key orthodoxies of identitarian extremism: that 'trans women are women' and 'trans men are men'.

"The Stalinist vindictiveness of the purge is made clear in its demonisation of two perfectly reasonable campaign groups: Woman’s Place UK and the LGB Alliance. The former is an organisation of feminists concerned that gender self-identification could lead to born males entering women-only spaces – such as changing rooms, rape-crisis centres and female prisons – and which campaigns for the preservation of women’s sex-based rights. The latter is a gay-rights group concerned that transgenderism erases the specificity of the homosexual experience – of same-sex attraction – for example by allowing people with actual penises to identify as lesbian. Scandalously, the purge refers to these two organisations as ‘hate groups’. It says Labour members should ‘organise and fight against’ these despicable, hateful outfits."

This isn't a minor group within Labour: two of the final three leader candidates have signed up to it, literally. Lisa Nandy, the Labour Party leadership candidate I thought best of a very poor bunch (and the only one untainted by the Corbyn shit-show) has signed.

Let them wither, but somebody needs to keep BoJo on the straight and narrow; will we have to rely on [the great] Nigel Farage again?
