And this should be the first quote; just fill in the blank re 'this country'...

And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there?

Obfuscation over origins...

...of SARS-CoV-2. With credit and hat-tip to The Naked Emperor. The Lancet Commission have released their document "on lessons for the future from the COVID-19 pandemic"...ahem, anyone could tell them what not to do, i.e. what all the governments did, against their own decades-old, reliable, well thought-out, considered plans; they decided to panic and spit the dummy...as we all now know, to most people's detriment.

Anyhooo...back to the Lancet and their "comprehensive investigation, analysis and response to COVID-19". The gist of the Lancet's recommendations I will leave for you to read on the Naked Emperor's Substack or reading the original document at [Lancet Journals website] or download and peruse at your own leisure [PDF]. The Executive Summary is enough...but not for the reasons they hope you'll believe: everyone knows for instance that the numbers of reported deaths and estimated deaths are complete hogwash. HOWEVER, regarding the image below:

The left hand side of the graphic is correct, basically a complete clusterfuck. An intentional complete and utter clusterfuck; a complete 'failure of rationality'. Anyone with even remotely functioning mental faculties now trusts the government less than before; they distrust the "Science" because real science wasn't even considered; an 'expert' (IYI) agenda 'science' was the norm. The only 'solidarity' and 'cooperation' was the patently crazy 'new' science of forget/ignore everything we know and become power-crazed rabid fuckwits whilst scaring the population to become headless chickens. The only internationally recognised health practise/protocol was "stay at home"...literally 'do nothing'. Known effective preventative measures not only ignored but trashed and ridiculed (and patently fraudulent, rushed out fake trials of "science" used to negate decades of success) previously world-leading virologists, epidemiologists, doctors etc., not only silenced but made pariahs...since proven 100% correct...minor rant over

The right-hand side of the graphic...well, there lies the real MASSIVE lie: the excess deaths I have already mentioned. Rubbish stats, a weaponised coronavirus killed a load of old people...harsh, but that is what happened. Most of the deaths could have been prevented if political intervention didn't happen...yes, you read that correctly. I'll go further: can anyone prove the ~~vaccines~~ COVID jabs saved a single life? Anywhere? The numbers coming out now suggest the opposite...yes, you read that correctly too.

So, "Years of setbacks in the SDG progress"? No. As planned. Dozens of 'Western', 'advanced' countries (read highly COVID vaccinated) countries suffering way over average excess mortality figures (10% higher on average), all age groups except very old (dying anyway or dead from whatever-they-had-before-made-worse-by-the-spike-protein) or the very young (not vaccinated). Compounded by high infertility and massively higher stillbirths/failed pregnancies. Compare those advanced nations to the non-advanced/not so educated/not so vaccinated under-developed nations whose young fighting-fit non-vaccinated males are heading your way...as planned.

A conspiracy theory too far? I'm winning about 20 nil so far. You see the trafficking across the English Channel - aided and abetted by UK Border Farce (oops), the Royal Navy, UK tax-payer funded private companies, and the [once beloved now lost] charity RNLI - but that's a drop in the ocean.

Oncoming oppression II...

Previously blaming the unjabbed it was Avid-Jabber Javid and Sadiq Khan[t] (amongst others), now it the normally sane Philip Johnston [DT] and, half expected, the leader of the Church of England, the primate of All England. So, will no one rid us of this turbulent priest? No, I am not suggesting anyone murder the latest Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby- his wokeness presiding over the collapse of the faith in the UK (he is not alone in the blame for this) who, in pretending to be a Christian - said "it's not about me and my rights to choose – it’s about how I love my neighbour" [Independent], no Justi-babes, it really isn't. he thinks I am immoral. He said the same thing at the beginning of the year [Reuters] about getting the jab, back then you could forgive the ignornace, not now.

I turn your attention to The Blogmire and Rob Slane's* excellent blogpost 'The Middle of the Road to Hell'.

We are accustomed to thinking of great evil as instantly recognisable. From Nuremberg rallies to the squalor of the Gulag, great evil is something obvious and unmissable. Or so we think...

It really is an excellent piece boosted by pertinent quotes from Vaclav Havel ['An apostle of Friedrich Hayek and Margaret Thatcher...'] and Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (how many of the latter's famous quotes are so relevant again now?!)

Rob piece essentially centres on the work by Belgian psychologist, Matthias Desmet re the current mass psychosis. Secondly, those who are not necessarily in thrall to the propaganda, but who nevertheless tend to go along with the demands it exacts on them. And thirdly, those who seem to be not only immune to the propaganda, but who oppose it as they are able."

Amazing this gets repeated all through history: the oft quoted Marcus Tullius Cicero [IEP], two thousand years ago said: "Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and gave him triumphal processions. Omicron outcomes, official ordure...

It just keeps coming: politicians spouting shit and causing problems. This time is is Sajid avid-jabber Javid, who says [SKY 'News'] - in an amazing case of non self-awareness - 'accused those unwilling to have the vaccine of having a "damaging impact" on society.' No Jabid, YOU and other LYING politicians and their LYING not very SAGE 'experts' are the ones having that marked effect; "We are watching the data and discussing it with our scientists and our best advisers almost on an hourly basis."...it doesn't matter how often you do it if the data is already skewed the way you want it!

Everything that is going on is based on dodgy models, wrong input and blinkered observation of data. We knew this when they started taking Prof Panic's advice; amazingly, that link is 18 months ago! How time flies when you're enjoying yourself!) but now they are openly admitting their shit-fest [Spectator]

Another LYING politician is Sadiq Khan, "The really bad news is those in hospital - the vast, vast majority are unvaccinated that's why it is so important to get both the vaccines and the booster jab.". Lies, the data proves him to be wilfully misleading or just fucking lying.

By 12 December 2021, the overall vaccine uptake in England for dose 1 was 67.9% and for dose 2 was 62.2%. Overall vaccine uptake in England in people with at least 3 doses was 31.4%.

Hmmmm, not quite the numbers you expected? Is Khan admitting that if you haven't had the booster you are considered unvaccinated?

I am quite interested in the Danish data which concurs with what I think is happening in the UK:

"Omicron - which continues to appear significantly less dangerous though more transmissible than earlier variants of Covid - has been used as a cover for vaccine failure."

Obsidional obmutescent obloquy...

The people on this list (it includes my MP who was a stalwart all through the Brexit saga too) could form the new slimmed-down UK parliament. The savings will be enormous, added to an MPs' Travel Lodge instead of 2nd homes...I digress.

From the same link you can select those that voted 'aye' - these will not survive - and those that had 'no vote recorded' will be interviewed to see why they did not vote, some for obvious reasons (Speakers, SNP, SF etc), they may be allowed to continue.

This craziness has to end: very slowly, but very surely, more people are realising. The hole is deep enough, just stop digging. But hey, this is just Health Protection right? All for our own good! To digress further, the number of great quotes from Marcus Tullius Cicero (Roman philosopher, statesman, lawyer, political theorist, and Roman constitutionalist) is amazing and almost all very applicable to the modern era; a half dozen of the best (the first was also so true during the Brexit division!). Two must-reads from the Conservative Woman blog:

1. "Lockdown – the Big Lie that will never end" [LINK] by Daniel Miller: "...there can no longer be any doubt that the position in Britain and elsewhere has nothing to do with any medical emergency, and probably never did.

"This is not to claim there was never a pandemic, but that the policies enacted in response cannot be explained or justified by any reasonable concern for public health. Every element of the justification for the lockdowns that have been imposed across the world is baseless scientifically, without exception."

"Further, the deception and repression which the implementation of lockdown has involved cannot be accounted for as honest errors or incompetence.

Censorship of alternative perspectives, the creation of a legal framework for installing a police state, and now the roll-out of experimental vaccines with questionable health benefits and seemingly zero political or social benefits (given that mask mandates and lockdown still persists) all indicate a conscious intention to deceive.

Here however it is the comments that really stand out and I hope the commentator Jingleballix doesn't mind me copying and pasting his excellent words:

It has manipulated language to term asymptomatic people 'cases' or 'infections'... ...all on the basis of the scandalously inaccurate PCR-tests... ...any doctor knows that a 'case' means illness; and in fact that statistic is also being collected officially as 'notifiable illness'.

It has thrown peoples' rights, freedoms, livings, businesses, education and indeed their lives into a pit of destruction and despair - thousands have committed suicide.

It has halted or denied proper medical treatment - treatment that the people have paid for - to people who badly needed it. Consequently, many thousands have died at home instead of getting treatment, and many, many thousands more will have missed life-saving diagnoses.

It has allowed rampant venal corruption, enabling the theft of £billions of the public's money.

It is hobbled the courts to prevent legal challenge.

It has sought to terrify, bully, brow-beat and bribe the British people into accepting all of the monstrous things it has done - what kind of government does that to its people?

It has put our freedoms and democracy in danger of being permanently extinguished... ...and it has bribed the media to NOT look into their litany of falsehoods and anti-democratic behaviour... ...it would not be unreasonable to believe that it has not done the same with its own MPs.

THIS TORY GOVERNMENT IS PUTRID, CORRUPT, INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST. AS A MATTER OF URGENCY IT MUST BE REMOVED."

Ominous observations: oulier obit?...

"10 Problems With The NHS's New Coronavirus App:"

"The NHS has bizarrely rejected the decentralised, secure and intelligently designed Apple-Google contact tracing framework in favour of a centralised approach. The decentralised approach is being taken by Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Estonia, Spain, and Ireland. It means all recent contacts will be anonymously, securely stored on your device and never centrally accessible. Guido has compiled some of the disastrous consequences the UK’s nationalised centralised NHS approach will have:

Privacy: There will be a centralised database of recent contacts of those who are infected. They claim it will be anonymised – we all know meta-data interrelates and could be connected to individuals, creating a huge honey pot for hackers.

Self-reporting: The app will work from self-reported symptoms, rather than based on a test result. This opens it to misuse by people who don’t want to go to work or kids who want to skip class.

Travel and visitors: The UK’s app won’t work when you travel overseas, unlike the decentralised apps that work together. Foreigners’ apps won’t work in the UK.

Northern Irish border: Ireland is using a decentralised app, which won’t interact with the UK’s centralised app, raising practical issues on the border.

Battery: The Apple-Google framework will always run in the background limiting battery usage. People could just switch off the UK’s app if they think it’s draining battery.

Legal: The proposal could break privacy laws by unnecessarily infringing on privacy, leaving it stuck in courts.

Mission creep: There is no law to prevent the Government from repurposing the app on your phone or the data they have for other purposes. It risks being misused and expanded in future.

Background: The app won’t be able to run fully in the background on iPhones or newer Androids because they aren’t using the Apple-Google framework. If two locked devices cross paths they won’t be able to send out a signal, they can only receive a signal from an unlocked device.

Non-app users: Apple and Google are planning to build their framework into the operating system, meaning even if you don’t have the app installed you can opt-in later and have the data available.

Usability: The NHS has a poor track record in IT projects, it’s likely the custom-designed app won’t work particularly well at first. Many people could just lose faith and give up, rendering the whole project useless.

The Government claims a centralised system is necessary for data about the outbreak, however it would still be possible to gather anonymised data from a decentralised app. Matthew Lesh of the Adam Smith Institute tells Guido:

"If a contact tracing app is going to work it must be downloaded by the clear majority of people. An app that unnecessarily centralises data, is clunky to use and drains your battery is unlikely to be particularly appealing. We need to change to a decentralised approach before it’s too late. Lives are on the line.”

Update: it's actually worse: we were told three weeks ago on UnHerd that the phone has to be unlocked for the NHS app to work and if any other app is running in the foreground the NHS app won't work, d'oh. And today: [The Register] UK finds itself almost alone with centralized virus contact-tracing; plus we all should have known at least two weeks ago app...

"The NHS has bizarrely rejected the decentralised, secure and intelligently designed Apple-Google contact tracing framework in favour of a centralised approach. The decentralised approach is being taken by Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Estonia, Spain, and Ireland. It means all recent contacts will be anonymously, securely stored on your device and never centrally accessible. Guido has compiled some of the disastrous consequences the UK’s nationalised centralised NHS approach will have:

Privacy: There will be a centralised database of recent contacts of those who are infected. They claim it will be anonymised – we all know meta-data interrelates and could be connected to individuals, creating a huge honey pot for hackers.
Self-reporting: The app will work from self-reported symptoms, rather than based on a test result. This opens it to misuse by people who don’t want to go to work or kids who want to skip class.
Travel and visitors: The UK’s app won’t work when you travel overseas, unlike the decentralised apps that work together. Foreigners’ apps won’t work in the UK.
Northern Irish border: Ireland is using a decentralised app, which won’t interact with the UK’s centralised app, raising practical issues on the border.
Battery: The Apple-Google framework will always run in the background limiting battery usage. People could just switch off the UK’s app if they think it’s draining battery.
Legal: The proposal could break privacy laws by unnecessarily infringing on privacy, leaving it stuck in courts.
Mission creep: There is no law to prevent the Government from repurposing the app on your phone or the data they have for other purposes. It risks being misused and expanded in future.
Background: The app won’t be able to run fully in the background on iPhones or newer Androids because they aren’t using the Apple-Google framework. If two locked devices cross paths they won’t be able to send out a signal, they can only receive a signal from an unlocked device.
Non-app users: Apple and Google are planning to build their framework into the operating system, meaning even if you don’t have the app installed you can opt-in later and have the data available.
Usability: The NHS has a poor track record in IT projects, it’s likely the custom-designed app won’t work particularly well at first. Many people could just lose faith and give up, rendering the whole project useless.

The Government claims a centralised system is necessary for data about the outbreak, however it would still be possible to gather anonymised data from a decentralised app. Matthew Lesh of the Adam Smith Institute tells Guido:

"If a contact tracing app is going to work it must be downloaded by the clear majority of people. An app that unnecessarily centralises data, is clunky to use and drains your battery is unlikely to be particularly appealing. We need to change to a decentralised approach before it’s too late. Lives are on the line.”

"Oh boy - so it's blogs that damage our trust in Parliament - not Parliament's betrayal of democracy or corrupt MPs as I previously described them as denizens of Dante's eighth malbolge - pimps, seducers, flatterers dipped in human shit, liars, fornicators, barrators, perjurers, corrupt office-holders, half-wit frauds and peculators. And I can name at least three of each. And have candid photos of one (widely circulated on the net) who importuned another pervert to shit on him."

Re the proposals contained in the Online Harms White Paper "for widespread government censorship of the internet". At least the tame MSM are jumping on this too. Their master bites them.

Open organisation...

Big Brother Watch reports on an exclusion inserted into the legislation 'underpinning' the Royal Charter on press-self regulation. The exclusion tabled a couple of hours ago by Lord Lucas and hopefully to be adopted by the Lords will exclude 'A publisher who does not exceed the definition of a small or medium-sized enterprise.' On Monday, the Lords will vote on the legislation “underpinning” the Royal Charter on press-self regulation...And the Blog Off campaign could use your support:

Obama's oncoming onslaught...

...could be over before it's begun. Talking of course about the possibility of gun control laws. Early this year (OK, it's less than 2 weeks old!) Godfather Politics reminded readers that "Most people, including politicians fail to realize that the ultimate legal authorities in the land are the county sheriffs". Now things have gone even further with the State of Wyoming introducing legislation to ban the federal government from enforcing their own bans on some weapons [hat-tip Weasel Zippers]. This is a call to 'take the Second Amendment seriously' and it's all moot at present because no such new ban/law has happened yet...but if Wyoming’s legislature can convince the courts that federal gun regulations are themselves unconstitutional it could stymie the current supremacy clause, 'which holds that enforceable federal laws trump state laws when they conflict.' Now, as we know, all this new hoohah stems directly from the latest shooting tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School and the rumours/conspiracy theories about that, which started almost immediately after the massacre, are getting weirder and louder [hat-tip Captain Ranty] with - amongst other things - condolence/donate pages being set up in the names of the victims BEFORE the incident!!!???
